Experience

As a Senior Assistant Attorney General for the State of Oregon, Brian prosecuted some of the state’s most significant antitrust, securities, false claims, and financial fraud cases, including cases involving cryptocurrency exchanges, pharmaceutical manufacturers, investment advisers, and tax credit programs.

Earlier in his career, Brian practiced with Allen & Overy LLP in New York, focusing on complex commercial litigation, regulatory defense, and white-collar matters, representing some of the key figures of the financial crisis.

Brian is well-known among peers as a tenacious courtroom advocate with sharp instincts and an unusual talent for translating dense complexity into plain simplicity.
